While digital cameras continue to grow in popularity, there are still a large number of analog video sources. Using The Imaging Source’s USB video converter, analog video sources become usable in a digital environment. The DFG/USB2pro pcb converts analog video signals (PAL, NTSC, CCIR, EIA) into uncompressed image data streams, and supports color and monochrome cameras. This converter is available in board level or box version.

The DFG/USB2aud also converts analog audio signals.

Max resolution NTSC: 640x480 at 30 fps, PAL: 768x576 at 25 fps

Most vision applications use dedicated computers to perform image processing and analysis. However, some simple monitoring and visualization tasks do not require this computing power. These tasks are more efficient if they provide images directly from the camera to the monitor, eliminating the hardware costs associated with a dedicated computer, Moreover, the market offer in cameras with direct output to a screen is very limited. Specifically designed for this purpose, the USB-to-HDMI converter generates a signal from the image data of a USB3 camera from The Imaging Source. Camera settings such as exposure and gain can be configured via an on-screen menu and are automatically restored on startup.

This converter supports all The Imaging Source DMK/DFK 33, 37 and 38 series cameras, with resolutions up to 4K (3840x2160) at 15 fps and Full HD up to 60 fps, it supports monitors up to native 4K resolution. With this converter, connect a camera directly to a screen and view the video without going through a PC. You will find the list of compatible cameras here.
